Lock 16 Weert: Renewing a National Monument as a Stakeholder Challenge
Rijkswaterstaat has applied to the municipality of Weert for a permit to overhaul the monumental Lock 16. When a national monument is part of the renewal programme, a heritage layer is added on top of the usual replacement-and-renovation complexity.
